Bungalowpark WestFrisia

 
Bungalowpark WestFrisia is a small, hidden bungalowpark in Venhuizen, behind the dyke (The Westfriese Omringdijk) between Hoorn and Enkhuizen. It’s a long park with 50 houses, 25 on each side of a 400 meter footpath. At the entrance there is a parking place. There are no cars allowed on the park itself. However, it is allowed to ride a bycicle on the footpath. Mopeds are not allowed. The park has the character of a quiet, nature park. The 50 houses are all individually owned, private property, including the ground that they stand on. The owners are united in a coöperation (Verening van Eigenaren) The Vereniging owns the common grounds, like the parking places, the path in between the houses and a huge recreation field at the back of the park, as can be seen darkly shaded on the map. The park is fully surrounded by irrigation ditches and has a wide view over the surrounding fields which are agriculurally used.
